On October 24th, my longtime radio partner, David Moulton, died. For 20 years, he and I did Miller and Moulton. The only reason my name was first is that Miller and Moulton sounded better than Moulton and Miller. Make no mistake, he was top billing. The three or four hours that we spent together Monday – Friday was the most fun you could have “working.” He would always say, “It beats working for a living.” Did it ever!
David was a sports encyclopedia. His recall of games, players, and events was unlike any person I have ever come across. More importantly, though, he was a great friend, husband, and father. The way he talked about his wife and daughter let you in on what a wonderful person he was. If you were in his inner circle, there wasn’t anything he would not do for you.

David Moulton
David Moulton was a longtime sports broadcaster, co-host of Miller and Moulton, and a devoted husband and father. He passed away on October 24, 2026, after a six-year battle with cancer, leaving behind his wife, Julie, and their daughter.
David was the “Voice of FGCU” for 20 years and worked behind the scenes on national television broadcasts as a spotter for Gary Danielson at CBS and Troy Aikman at FOX and ABC/ESPN. Alongside Mark Miller, he built Miller and Moulton into a longtime fixture of Southwest Florida sports radio. He will be remembered for his encyclopedic knowledge of sports, his loyalty, his friendship, and his love for his family.
Mark Miller
Mark Miller is married with 2 kids (a son and a daughter). He grew up in Michigan, graduated from Michigan State, and headed south over 30 years ago with stops in Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, and Atlanta, GA before settling in Southwest Florida in the late ’90s. Mark was predominantly a hockey play-by-play broadcaster and marketing specialist for 3 organizations before settling in as a sports talk show host and real estate agent.
